Tournament Guidelines
All Eight-Ball Pool Leagues/Clubs are invited to compete in the Annual Dandenong Cup.
All teams can register a maximum of ten (10) players.
To ensure teams are competitive we will be endeavouring to run 2 different divisions this year. The "A" Division allowing teams
with a maximum of 40 points or (max 3 premier players) and the "B" Division a maximum of 20 points. (top 7 players are added
to give the team total)
Player points are based on Potters ranking points for the 2009 season. A list of players and thier points is available here or at Potters
Pool Hall. If you have a player who is not already ranked they will be ranked by the organisers when the team is entered.
Each match will consist of seven (7) singles frames.
Tournament is run on a round robin format.
Finals are decided using a final four format.
Entries are restricted to 20 teams.
Slow playing matches may be asked to play on additional tables if necessary.
Playing rules for this tournament are the current Australian Eight-Ball Federation Rules.
Entry fee's for the Dandenong Cup is $350.00 per team.
For every single frame won the player who won will receive $10.00 back.
The winning team of the tournament will receive $350.00.
2nd placed team will receive $175.00.
3rd & 4th placed team will receive $50.00.
All teams MUST pay a $50.00 deposit with no money being refundable.
Deposits must be paid by Thursday 26th November 2009 to ensure your team is in the Cup.
All competition rules and player eligibility is at the tournament organiser's discretion. Tournament organiser's decision is final.
