Each team must have a minimum of 6 players on any given night.
All teams can register a maximum of ten (10) players of which the 6 highest ranked players combined reach no more than 40
ranking points. Players cannot transfer between teams.
Every player will be ranked based on Potters Player Rankings available here. If a player is not currently ranked they will be ranked by
the tournament organisers before the competition starts and then reviewed after 6 rounds. (The highest ranked players in a team
on any night are used for the team ranking on that night).
Players must be registered by the half way point of the season. (eg. 18 round season before the start of round 10)
If a player is registered during the season they must approach the committee to confirm ranking points first.
To qualify for the finals a player must play a minimum of half the season plus 1 match.
Each match will consist of thirty-six (36)) singles frames as per the current DDPL Premier Division.
Finals are decided using a final four format.
Entries are restricted to 12 teams, so enter quickly or miss out.
The home and away season will run for 18 weeks (10 teams), or 21 weeks (8 teams).
Playing rules for this tournament are the current Australian Eight-Ball Federation Rules.
All matches must be started at 7.30pm. Any player who is running late must be there when his/her game is due otherwise they will
forfeit, unless an agreement has been made between both captains. (No catch up games will be allowed)
2 substitute players are allowed, starting player if substituted must return to their original position and no player can play the same
player twice.
Team registration fee is $300 which must be paid before the start of the season.
Weekly fee per playing player is ONLY $10.00. Every team must pay $60.00 each week, NO Exceptions. If a team is short of
players on a night they still need to pay the total $60.00.
The winning team of the tournament will receive $6,000.00 in cash. 2nd $3,000 / 3rd $1,500 & 4th $1,000. (prize money is based on
10 teams)
Best players for the season prizes: $500 best 8 point player & above, $500 best 7 point player, $500 best 7 point player, $500 best
6 point player & $500 best 5 point player & below. (eg. frames won less frames lost = players + or - ratio. Players must play a
minimum of half plus 1 of the scheduled frames for the season).
Trophy and medallions presented to winning team & best players on the night of the Grand Final.
